Emirates extends Chauffeur-Drive service to Narita and Kansai airports in Japan
First and Business Class passengers receive enhanced door-to-door travel convenience
DUBAI – Emirates has announced an expansion of its signature Chauffeur-Drive service in Japan, adding Narita International Airport from 1 February 2026 and Kansai International Airport from 1 March 2026.
The move enhances the airline’s premium ground offering and builds on the existing service at Haneda Airport. Emirates says it remains the only international airline providing a dedicated chauffeur-driven airport transfer service in Japan.
The complimentary service is available to First Class and Business Class customers travelling on eligible Emirates-operated flights. It provides private transfers between the airport and a passenger’s home, hotel or office, creating a seamless door-to-door journey designed to match the airline’s onboard experience.
Service coverage
Each booking includes up to 100 driven kilometres per journey, calculated using the shortest route between the airport and the designated address. Coverage from Narita International Airport spans Tokyo’s 23 wards and most areas across Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama and Kanagawa prefectures. From Kansai International Airport, the service extends to Osaka City and much of Osaka, Nara, Kyoto and Hyogo prefectures.
Key charges
Travel beyond the 100-kilometre allowance is charged at JPY 500 per additional kilometre, with applicable tax added. Any excess distance fees must be settled directly with the driver, either in Japanese Yen cash or by credit card.
Lounge access
At Narita, premium customers also have access to the Emirates airport lounge in Terminal 2, complementing the ground transfer with dedicated pre-flight facilities.
